Women have struggled for equal rights since the beginning of time.Even though there have been many successes in getting justice for the female gender there is still room to grow. you may not realize that a long journey with many bumps in the road must be taken before women are empowered in every area of life. Many people do not realize that woman's rights issues still exist in all countries. These rights can be anything from receiving lower salaries for the same amount of work to horrific social injustices for women.

Closing the wage gap between men and women is a topic that seems to be swept under the rug. Women perform same duties as men and still cant get the social economic security that we deserve. What makes women so different when our performance is the same as a man. We both do the job and get positive results sex shouldn't be a determining factor. A women's goal to be equal to a man shouldn't seem far fetched pay and performance should go hand in hand.

It just blows my mind sometimes because women work just as hard as men do and we still get paid less and don't really get exactly what we deserve. We are strong individuals who do the same jobs men can but we go a little further but we still get looked upon as being below and it isn't fair.
